Magazine’s 5th annual Inc. 500/5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing privately held companies. Safepay Now Available on Android Phones

Federated Payments, a leading international provider of credit card processing and related merchant account services for independent business owners in North America, announced today that its industry-leading e-commerce solution, Safepay, is now available for Android phones.

Federated Payment’s CEO, Jon Levitt, states, “This is the perfect solution for merchants on-the-go. Due to recent advances in technology, Safepay, our proprietary virtual payment gateway, has been available for our customers with iPhones for the past year. Now, with approximately 25% of all mobile phone owners using Androids, we have integrated this new application with Safepay to offer our customers added convenience while increasing our market penetration.”

This application is the ideal electronic card payment solution for merchants who want the freedom to process anywhere there is a wireless connection (i.e. electricians, plumbers, contractors, limo drivers, etc.) Working in conjunction with Federated’s Safepay payment gateway, there are two options available – a free, limited service version (Merchant Lite) and a more comprehensive version (MerchantPro) for a nominal $6.99 onetime fee. The application was developed by Three Aspen Software and both versions can be downloaded from the user’s Android phone’s application or market center.

Federated Payment’s Safepay allows merchants to process credit card transactions safely via the internet. With a variety of options, you can tailor your SafePay account to your personal preference. Through Safepay’s merchant control panel, one can access and charge customers’ credit cards conveniently and securely.

Federated Payments Expands Management Team to Meet Market Demand

Prior to joining Federated Payments, Wayne Hayes spent close to 10 years in the Financial and Insurance arenas. Most recently, Wayne was manager of Internet Sales for GEICO insurance. Before GEICO, Wayne worked in various sales and management roles within the mortgage industry including several years at Citibank and CitiFinancial. Wayne received his B.S. in Marketing from Norfolk State University in Virginia where he was a star linebacker for the Norfolk State Spartans.

Rich Horswell has over 30 years experience in the merchant services and processing industry, Rich first joined Federated in 2001 where he spent 3 years in the field and 7 years recruiting, training and managing sales reps in a variety of sales offices including Denver, Tampa and Baltimore. After a brief hiatus, Rich returns to focusing on the Southeast U.S.

Federated Payments SVP of Sales Celebrates 6th Anniversary

In April, 2006, Scott moved to Federated’s Melville NY headquarters where he was promoted to National Sales Manager.
